Our community is located in the Rio Grande Valley, which is situated in the northeast parish of Portland and is accessible from the coastal town of Port Antonio. The river valley lies between the convergent mountain ranges of the Blue Mountains to the south and west and the John Crow Mountains to the north and east. We are minutes away from the Blue and John Crow Mountains National Park, which was recently designated a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
The vegetation is lush, with several colors of green. There are lots of rivers and springs. One can always go for a hike if they wish on nice trails, see beautiful birds and waterfalls.
